Account and data deletion

Delete your account in Dante

1. Sign in to Dante using the account you want to delete.
2. Open Account and select Delete account.
3. Read the information on the confirmation screen and select Delete Permanently.

Signing in is required to delete an account. This link opens the confirmation screen; it does not delete anything automatically.

What happens to your data

Account deletion disables the account and removes its email address, username, sign-in credentials and social sign-in links from the account records. Device notifications and unused review permissions are revoked.

Previously submitted reviews, chat messages and some internal records are not automatically deleted by account deletion. To request removal of specific content or other personal data, contact us using the email address below. See our privacy policy for information about data processing.

If you own a business on Dante, you must transfer or resolve that ownership before deleting the account. Contact us if you need help.

Request data deletion or get help

If you cannot sign in, or want to request deletion of specific personal data, email us. Include the email address or username associated with your Dante account and explain which data or content you want removed.

We may ask for information to verify that the request concerns your account. Do not send your password or sign-in tokens.
